Ewen and Christie Blaikie released into ministry

Commission of Ewen and Christie Blaikie into ministry.

God spoke to me and gave me the Scripture 2 Timothy 2:2:

“And the things which you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men.”

Today Cate and I are committing to Ewen and Christie the ministry of preaching the gospel of Christ as we have taught them.

We are entrusting to them leadership within Forerunner Ministries and releasing them in the name of the ascension gifts God has placed in their lives.

We are setting them apart to full time ministry to be released to do whatever the Holy Spirit would command them to do.

We do set these boundaries over their lives:

1. Embrace the values of Forerunner Ministries and stay submitted to Cate and I.
2. Commit to Forerunner Ministries as their home base and place of fellowship.
3. Keep their ministry plugged into the bigger picture of Forerunner Ministries.

Forerunner Ministries is an apostolic ministry so we are giving them the freedom to be creative to conceive, birth and oversee a ministry of their choosing that embraces the boundaries already stated.

We charge them to obey the commission of Jesus: preach the gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit and make disciples.
